Hike to lake sorapis

One of the most iconic hikes in the Dolomites. A private transfer (approx. 20 minutes) from HOTEL de LEN takes you to Passo Tre Croci, where trail no. 215 begins. The path starts gently through alpine meadows and forest, then narrows as it winds along the slopes of the Mercuòira peaks. Some short, exposed sections are secured with cables and ladders (not recommended for those with vertigo). After about two hours, you’ll reach Rifugio Vandelli and the stunning turquoise waters of Lake Sorapiss, set in a dramatic rocky amphitheatre beneath the towering “Finger of God” peak. Return via the same route.
